Heinrich Rudolf Hertz was born on February 2, 1857.
Hertz confirmed Maxwell's electromagnetic theory with his experiments on propagation of electromagnetic waves in 1887-1888.
Hertz was the father of Radio. He discovered the Hertz waves which are fundamentals of radio engineering.
